Job Title: TTB and Alternating Proprietorship Specialist
Purpose of the Job
The TTB and Alternating Proprietorship Specialist is responsible for following the process of the entire life cycle of Alternating Proprietorship (AP), which will include self audits and Alcohol Tax & Trade Bureau (TTB) audits. The specialist will ensure compliance with Title 27 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), specifically Parts 19 and 25, during production and shipment activities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare federal and state excise tax payments for AP tenants
• Formulate TTB monthly operation reports (production, storage, processing, etc.) for AP tenants
• Manage export processes and ensure compliance with TTB regulations for AP tenants
• Collaborate with Plant Management, Sales, and AP tenants to ensure compliance during alternation
• Assist AP tenants during audits of production and shipping records as needed
• Conduct self assurance audits to ensure compliance with all regulatiions for AP tenants
• Identify gaps from self assurance audits, roll out improvement processes and train plant team members on these new processes
• Subject matter expert on the relevant CFR and all aspects of Alternating Proprietorship for AP tenants and other stakeholders
• Stay current on regulations and apply any changes in these regulations throughout the auditing process
• Interpret federal and states AP regulations and identify risks pertaining to non-compliance
• Ensure the timeliness, quality and accuracy of tax payments and reports

Requirements
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent degree with financial or operational background
- Thorough knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations (Title 27) is required
- A minimum of 3 years working with TTB and Alternating Proprietorship reporting in beer, wine, or spirts
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels, both verbal and written, with internal stakeholders, external government agencies, and external vendors and customers
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Self starter with the ability to work independently
- Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure
- Proficiency in computer skills. Strong with MS Excel and Word
- Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Exposure to supply chain activities would be beneficial
