Purpose of the Job
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for functions necessary for the functions throught the warehousing of product, including shipping of finished, barreled, and bulk product for Tennessee Distilling Group. The Receiving and Inventory Specialist Lead is responsible for ensuring that products and supplies associated with the production and storage of product is properly maintained and tracked through physical and electronic records on and off campus.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain logs for invoices and monthly reports
- Maintain electronic barrel spreadsheet
- Coordinate with customers, brokers, and freight carriers regarding the arrival and departure of trucks transporting product and product raw materials
- Extensive communication with customers, freight carriers, and internal TDG stakeholders
- Operate a forklift to move product and product supplies
- Move inventory throughout the warehouse and campus
- Perform on-going cleaning of the warehouse
- Document barrel tag numbers as needed
- Load and unload empty barrels as needed
- Assist other team members with the dumping of product from barrels
- Move barrels with the use of forklift or roll barrels by hand as needed
- Navigate TDG ERP software systems to execute and track logistics duties
- Ship/receive product raw materials
- Read and understand Bill of Lading and check for accuracy
- Complete physical counts of finished case inventory and raw materials inventory
- Check shipments for count accuracy and possible damage
- Sign, date and apply verification seal
- Obtain purchase order from office and pull orders accordingly
- Conduct regular counting of inventory
- Other warehousing duties as assigned.

Job Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Forklift Certified
- Experience with Word, Excel, and ERP software systems
- Able to utilize technology
