Job Title: Logistics Supervisor

Purpose of the Job
The Logistics Supervisor will spearhead supply chain and logistics operations, coordinating closely with cross functional teams to develop robust business strategies. This position will coordinate all incoming and outgoing shipments of raw material, dry goods, barrels, bulk liquids, and finished goods from bottling and production. The Logistics Supervisor will collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide and effective supply chain.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicating, maintaining and balancing the inbound/outbound process to insure raw materials, and daily production needs are met
  • Monitoring the efficiency and efficacy of the warehouse for current and future demands.
  • Bring Warehouse solutions through technology and tracking systems
  • Maintain regular and timely communication across all other departments to meet requirements both intermally and externally.
  • Responsible for training and developing of logistics team members with cross function duties (i.e., maturation, shipping, logistics)
  • Oversee logistics of multiple campus activity (moving barrels and supplies from one campus to another).
  • Develops and maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located across all campuses.
  • Analyzes current inventories and procedures; brings improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
  • Develops processes to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality an safety; implements subsequent changes to the process.
  • Annual Inventory (cycle count and audit) balancing the books to ensure no loss.
  • Manage and communicate warehouse capacity-looking for empty areas for future use.
  • Look for ways to optimize warehouse space to function.
  • Continuous process improvement and staff development.
  • Internal movement of dry goods, ensuring bottling is adequately supplied
  • Create and maintain daily workflows and schedules
  • Communicate with outside logistic companies and brokers for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Receive finished goods from production and oversee storage appropriately.
  • Oversee the process of shipping and receiving both domestically and internationally.
  • Maintain inventory of finished case goods.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or other relevant discipline.
  • Five years managing a Warehouse and Logistics environment and its team.
  • Proficient with software systems that manage materials, inventory, and labor.
  • Experience in Netsuite, preferred
  • Ability to manage materials and logistics for production.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
